He trembles and is literally terrified thinking of what he is about to undergo and even if this might seem a completely normal reaction for a slave who is about to be punished, actually this fear of his has deeper roots. The way he behaves, so clumsy and awkward, often makes him inadequate to perform some tasks that require a certain degree of precision and it is just this characteristic that often puts him in an unpleasant situation which then inevitably ends in painful punishment. .
